Mr Papanyana Johannes Tolo
Papanyana Johannes Tolo, an OD-ETD Practitioner (MACCAUVLEI-POCHEFSTROOM UNIVERSITY), matriculated at Mphunye Senior Secondary and in position of Human Resource Management Diploma (IBM), Project Management (University of Pretoria), SMME Management Cert (JASA), Business Consultation Cert (DAMELIN). He is a registered Assessor (NQF level 5) in terms of the Skills Development Act and also accredited to Develop Learning Guides by (SAQA). He has acquired international safety management experience from GHANA, NAMIBIA & ZAMBIA. A qualified lead auditor of OSHAS 18001 as well as ISO 14001, Risk management, Root causes analysis techniques and Accident investigations and facilitations. He’s got three (3) years experience in metallurgical plant operations, two (2) years in Human Resource Development at Anglo Platinum’s Mogalakwena operation.
He secured a chairpersonship of Mogalakwena Youth Council – Economic Development portfolio from January 2003 to December 2005. Worked for African Life Insurance Company as a Consultant for seven months. Worked for Anglo Platinum as a SHEQ Training Officer for two years (2). Also represented Limpopo youth organizations during National Skills Development Strategy led by British Council at Gallagher Estate (Midrand) in September 2001. He has done several short courses; Diversity Management, Professional Leadership, OHSACT 85-1993, Mine Health and Safety Act 29-1996, Minerals Act 50 of 1991 and Labour Relations Act presented by IRCA. Have four years experience in an Underground Coal Mine operations. He is registered with the Institute of Business Management and Polokwane Chamber of Business as a professional member. He is registered with the South African Revenue Services as a Tax Practitioner, PR 5589290. Worked for Sasol Mining within Safety, Health, Environment and Continuous Improvement which includes Training, Safety Audits, Incident Preventions, OSHAS 18001 and ISO 14001 Audits. Managed to acquire OSHAS 18001 accreditations for Sasol Mining’s Twistdraai Colliery based in the Highveld region of Mpumalanga Province in December 2007.
